Feeling odd . Lethargic and am swallowing more often. Slightly tickle sensation in throat . Happily taken 50 and 25 of teva for ages , but they ran out of 50. So now taking 3 x 25 for 3 days .
Is it possible that’s cause of how I feel !!

Hi!
Are you still in the process of getting on a therapeutic dose? I’m currently on the journey and when I start to go a bit hypo I get a tickly cough in the back of my throat mainly when I’m trying to go to sleep at night when I lie down. Wondered if you were experiencing the same thing?
Thanks for thoughts.
No, I’ve been happy with 75 until three days ago when I changed to 3 tablets all 25 . I’m going to ring dr. Tomorrow to see if they have higher dose back yet . So I guess it will stop concern it might meds
Hope you get sorted soon ..
Gosh MostewThat’s really weird ??? 25’s. 🤔. Hope you get sorted. Makes you wonder if there is something ’funky’ about that dose doesn’t it? I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Please consider putting in a Yellow Card report - even if you are still not certain.
I definitely had the same problems with the 25mcg pills from Teva. In the end I stopped Teva and sent a Yellow Card report. It seems that the 25mcg pills had different fillers to the 50mcgs in many brands so in the end I took one 50 and cut another in half (for a 75mcg dose). Teva was by far the worst. Many other brands are as bad for me and I am now on liquid thyroxine. But until I can talk to my GP and get the dosage sorted I can't report whether it is better or not. My last TSH test was 7.8 and GP put up dose by 5mcg a day but still feeling low. Maybe it just takes time....
For Teva levothyroxine, there seems to be no evidence whatsoever that the various dosages have different excipients.
The Public Assessment Report for 12.5, 25 & 75 microgram tablets:
Other ingredients consist of the pharmaceutical excipients, namely maize starch, mannitol (E421),
microcrystalline cellulose, sodium citrate, acacia and magnesium stearate.

However, it is possible that the proportions vary. The quantity of levothyroxine is so small, effectively the tablets are almost entirely their excipients. If the tablets vary in size, that implies a greater quantity in some tablets than others.
Thanks for info. I’m feeling better. Didn’t have meds last nite and have rung surgery who were very helpful . Getting me 50 microgram tabs .
How much levothyroxine in a tablet?
A 100 microgram Accord levothyroxine tablet weighs 100 milligrams.
That works out as being 0.10% of the weight of the tablet being Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) – that is, levothyroxine sodium.
Or, viewed from the other direction, 99.90% of it is excipients.
Other makes, other dosages, other medicinal forms (gel caps, oral solutions) will be different. But all will have a very low percentage of levothyroxine.
