Here are my Saliva Cortisol results along with a picture of the STTM book guidelines on dosing for moderately low saliva cortisol. Does anyone have any advice for me based on my results and what I wrote in the pic below?

Hi, I am not very knowledgeable in adrenal issues , but from looking at your results I would suggest that your cortisol is a bit low in the morning and then trying to catch up later in the afternoon. I have low cortisol myself and on HC . I found this site rt3-adrenals.org/, very helpful. You can join their forum.

How were you able to get prescribed HC? What’s your diagnosis?

I’ve got HC prescription from my integrative doctor. He diagnosed me with adrenal insufficiency after the saliva test. All four points were very low.

I'm rather puzzled by your results. Which company's saliva cortisol test did you do? Did it include DHEA?

I'm afraid the reference ranges you've given from the STTM book are of no use. The test you did must have included reference ranges, and your results must always be compared to the reference ranges that were provided with the result. We can't mix and match and use reference ranges from wherever we like, and that applies to all tests.

Some companies supply standard reference ranges for saliva cortisol tests, some companies add what they call "optimal ranges". Can I suggest rather than using photos that you just write the results out with the reference ranges they were supplied with. If you were given standard ranges AND optimal ranges then you can either include both or just use the standard ranges.

The companies that report optimal ranges never tell us how they were derived. I would always use the standard reference ranges in interpreting results.

I have interpreted cortisol results for a few people. In one interpretation I got particularly verbose. You might find it interesting :
