Advice on Adrenal Function Profile Saliva test

I have received my saliva test from regenerus labs today. The instructions say women with menstrual cycles should collect on days 19-23. How important is this? I have never had regular periods and can sometimes go a few months without one. So I'm not exactly sure where I am in my cycle at the moment.

Also it say to avoid supplements until after all four samples have been collected, should I still take my thyroid meds?

I'm way past that but as it says collect on those days there must be a very good reason. They say those days when you have a 28 day cycle. As yours is irregular then you need to ring Regenerus for guidance.

Yes. It says to continue with essential medication which your thyroid meds are. It's supplements you leave off on the day.

Hi Seaside Susie - Also came here as have similar issue. I have very regular periods though but only 21 day cycle. Should I test on day 14 perhaps?

Sorry Saggy I have no idea, I never did one when I was having periods, it's best to ring them.
