Where can I buy some? Used to take the 300+ one as can only take it once a day due to meds but assuming can only get this dose on prescription anyway but what about the 200+ one? Are you able to get it over the counter (knew pharmacies did sulphate back then but can't stomach it). Are the online pharmacies I've never heard of that come up on google credible at all?
Many thanks, Sarah

Assuming from your name that you are from the UK you can buy ferrous fumarate 210mg from pharmacies. I have bought from Tesco Pharmacies, Lloyds, a couple of local independent pharmacies, Boots (although they did refuse me once). Apart from the Boots refusal I've had no problems getting hold of FF 210. The brand doesn't matter, in my experience.
These are all the ferrous fumarate products that the NHS will prescribe, and it includes the higher dose FF 305 or FF 322, but I have never tried buying these, and don't know how easy they are to find.
If you see (POM) in the BNF it stands for "Prescription Only Medicine". The other possibilities are the (P) that I've already mentioned or nothing. Anything with no codes is theoretically available with no prescription and no Pharmacist overview required.
But pharmacists can insist on anything they like in their own premises. I've been told that some things will only be sold with a prescription or pharmacist approval before, even though the rules state this is not required. So be prepared for anything, and if you get refused just go to a different pharmacy, preferably not from the same chain that just turned you down.
Try any local pharmacies, Both 210 and 322 milligram tablets are, technically, Pharmacy medicines which can be sold subject to the pharmacist agreeing.

Members often need to locate pharmacies in their locality. Each of the four nations has its own way of looking up pharmacies.

Thanks, No worries, I was only thinking about the online ones as I had it in my head that the highstreet pharmacies wouldn't do fumarate without prescription. Knowing this is not the case, I will just walk to all around me until one gives it up
