Just spotted this DHSC are seeking views on women's health issues to support the development of a Women's Health Strategy. Anyone over 16 can submit comments before the deadline of 11.45pm 13 June. It's worth completing - hypothyroidism is a listed "issue" so there is an opportunity to let off steam :)

Rather bizarrely, they assume menopause is necessarily a problem "condition" rather than a fact of life, (but still having periods isn't!) and much of the answer options are very black and white - yes/no rather than also sometimes/often - and there is an obsession with only 5 things mattering ... and also no comprehension (on the work questions) that not everyone has an employer - some of us may be self-employed!

It's also a chance to note that GPs have shut themselves off during the pandemic with many not doing annual thyroid blood-testing or face-to-face appointments - despite a visual position often being helpful for thyroid sufferers ...
