I have a multi nodular goiter. Large enough for biopsy. Hurthle cell can many times be indicative of Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroid disease. It can also mean cancer. Mine was Hashimoto's. I do need another biopsy soon due to enlarged nodule and hope my diagnosis does not change. Good luck. Odds are Hashimoto's.
