Sensitive throat??

I’m hypothyroid (hashimotos)

I’ve no pain in my neck, and when I’ve been examined clinicians general either say they can feel little or no increase in my thyroid size. However I have noticed that I am really sensitive to wearing anything around my neck... I find round necks really irritating . and can def link it in with feeling more symptomatic on certain days.

Anyone else feel this?

I felt this for years before I was diagnosed. Not so much now.

I get the feeling like I’m being strangled and polo neck tops are a definite no no for me now. It’s worse when I’m under medicated

I find if I lay down on my back to exercise I get the sensation that there is something on my throat- not pleasant!!

I’m only starting meds so hoping it will reduce.. it’s not the worst symptom I’ve had but it’s strange!
