I think you might mean Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) - a test usually carried out as part of a liver function test.

It is really difficult to say anything about a single test result when it is part of a group of tests.

Can you post the other results that you were given?

This test is normally done as part of the group of liver function tests, and not usually taken or considered in isolation. If your GP is concerned, they will run the tests again, with the relevant referral made if high results are returned again. Any questions you have about this test result should be discussed with your GP.
