Is Adrenavive only for people with low cortisol?

I ask because after doing a saliva cortisol test I found out mine is high. I have anxiety all the time and I'm usually always feeling cold, and fatigued.

Has anyone had success with adrenal extracts, and is what they say about adrenal extracts true, - with regards to it stopping adrenal function?

Thank you

Adrenal glandulars and adrenal cortex such as Adrenavive are for raising low cortisol.

To lower high cortisol then adaptogens are what do that job.

A few years ago I was seeing a practioner who deemed my cortisol to be high - it was not over range, just high in range. She advised I used Adreset (a combination of adaptogens) to lower it. She omitted to say we should regularly test my levels and two years later I was left with very low cortisol which I have since been trying to raise, it's taking a long time but it's coming on slowly. I started with Adrenavive but have now changed brands.

Whatever you do, please test regularly with either Regenerus or Genova Diagnostics.

What are your thyroid levels like?

Being hypothyroid often raises cortisol

My thyroid is okay, I think. I did decide to experiment with a little ndt in the past to see if it would help my symptoms but i didn't notice anything unfortunately :/

What are your most recent results and ranges

TSH, Ft4 and Ft3

Do you have Hashimoto’s. If yes are you on absolutely strictly gluten free diet

When were vitamin D, folate , ferritin and B12 last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

i had all of the above tested (except free t3), and everything came back as normal, and i'm not on any supplements at the moment

Please add actual results and ranges

Normal result just means within range.....this is not necessarily optimal

And Ft3 is essential
