Help me i had covid 19 i think it mess with my thyroids i was off levo for a 1 year and end up putting back on 50 and been taking them for 5 days now i smoke cigs cant stop need alternative and can cbd cigarettes or oil or food form help or harm thyroid patients i had pain front back abdomin area and it flares up and pain in buttocks when eating certain foods the pain come down once i use bathroom but sometimes come and go i have a baby knot on back of my neck and on side and one one elbow underneath the skin HELPPPPPPPP?!!!!

Oh poor you . You must be fed up. CBD is fine .

Try keeping a note of what you eat and how you feel. You might start to see which foods make you worse. It can be quick reaction or slower . Sometimes taking a few days. So looking back on your notes makes it clearer.

50mcg levothyroxine is standard starter dose levothyroxine

Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after each dose change or brand change in levothyroxine

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies

Ask Doctor to test vitamin levels and thyroid antibodies

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
