T3 & Omeprazole

Hi everyone

I currently take 75mcg Cynomel.

I take 25mcg at 6am

25mcg at 12 noon

25mcg at 4pm

My GP has recently described me Omeprazole 20mg gastro resistant capsules. I am taking 1 each day at 10am. I wanted to ask, do you know if the capsules will affect my T3 absorption

I have to take take omeprazole twice a day due to hiatus hernia and Barrett’s oesophagus. I take them before main meals usually brunch/ lunch and evening meals- I don’t do breakfast really so that helps. I take ndt/ T3 on waking each day. I have been on omeprazole for years, at one time I took Ranitidine as well but that has been hard to get so I just watch what I eat. Gaviscon etc don’t touch the problem for me.
