What brand and dose were you taking?

helvella has a list of UK brands here:

Both Almus and Northstar are Accord product (at least, in their 50 and 100 microgram dosages).

Maybe you could get Almus (often available at Boots) or Northstar (often available at Lloyds)?

Thank you

This will depend on whether you are sensitive to any fillers commonly used in medications and supplements. You may already be aware of some that cause issues for you. Acacia, used in Mercury and Teva, can be problematic for some, lactose in many brands for others, while Teva contains mannitol which seems to provoke a reaction, too, although this may be in my opinion, due in part to negative comments about it resulting in a nocebo effect. Mannitol is found in many food products, and also has many natural sources, including sweet potatoes, cauliflower, butternut squash and watermelon, so you may be aware of an issue with this substance. Always check the PIL of any medication or supplement, whether prescribed or otc, so you know exactly what you are ingesting. We all differ in what suits or doesn't suit us, so there is no perfect brand of anything for everyone. Trial and error is often the way to go.
