How many hours AFTER food can you take your meds?

I know it's best on an empty stomach, first thing or at night but failing that, what's the soonest after food that it's ok to take meds?

The general advice here is 2 hours after eating or 1 hour before x

2 hours after food but if you have a main meal, such as main evening dinner rather than a snack type lunch, then 3 hours.
