Hi I’m on thyroxine 125mg always been activis TIL they changed last year ended up taking a severe allergic reaction and a year to get over it I have been informed that accord have taken over Actavis will the ingredients r the same I’m petrified of taking !!! Plz help is this the case ? x

Actavis and Accord are the same tablet, just a name change.

I have been taking Actavis for donkeys years. As far as could be ascertained they have not changed their forumula and I certainly haven't had any problems in all the years I've been taking it, historically or recently.

However, there have been a couple of members who have reported adverse effects to some batches about 12-18 months ago, I had the same batch numbers and I had no adverse effects.

As Bantam12 says, Accord is the new brand name for Actavis, the same people make them and the ingredients are the same.
