Have Hashimotos and had my first thyroid check post pregnancy and the results came back with me being told I was over treated and needed a 25mcg drop in my dose.
Results below, any thoughts on whether this is over treatment or another case of doctors going by higher levels? Happy to decrease if it’s needed but just want to be sure before dose is decreased as I had a battle getting treatment and correct dose initially. Thanks.

Hi there. Your TSH is clearly suppressed. You don't give the ranges [if you have them, can you edit your post - use the "more" button on the right] but it's likely that your T4 is over-range. This is all very well, but what is your free T3 doing? Ideally you would have this tested too, and your key nutrients - ferritin, folate, vit B12 and D - to see whether your free T3 is over-range. Also, and just as important, do you feel well?
You need more hormone during pregnancy so would expect to drop 25 or 50 mcg afterwards. Your fT4 is high (assuming upper limit is around 22.0) and this doesn't really help as T4 starts to convert to reverse T3. You may find you feel a little better on a lower dose. Your TSH will probably go lower in time on this dose, this can cause conversion problems if TSH stays too low for a long time. So, I would try a lower dose but perhaps try and keep the door open in case it doesn't work.
