I've seen a few articles about Covid-19 and BPmeds-specifically ACE inhibitors and ARBs. Some articles are positive, some negative. Clarity?

I don't think anyone, here or anywhere else, can give you a definite answer to that, not even the "experts". As you say, you've seen conflicting articles yourself. One person I would trust is Dr Malcolm Kendrick who has an article mentioning this, but he does point out at the end of the article that he is not certain:

I don't think the world has ever seen anything like the torrent of papers being published. Just yesterday, 06/04/2020, almost a hundred new papers were made available as pre-prints (not yet reviewed so need to be taken with extreme caution anyway).

Even a medical expert, dedicating every waking hour, would find it difficult to actually meaningfully read them all. Let alone those who are actually working in hospitals.

It will be quite a while before clarity is available. And we can expect numerous conflicting papers to co-exist. (No criticism intended - that is just how it is.)

I looked up deaths in UK from heart disease . It was reported about 460 per day 1 every 3 minutes .

Did the same for cancer deaths per day similar number reported each day .

Where are those now ?

That is obviously 900 roughly a day .

I agree with Dr Kendricks post as to his thoughts re outcome and impact etc .

Scary reporting tactics .

I might add I am conducting myself as instructed!

There were less deaths in Feb 2020 than 2019 - from all known causes. Figures from gov.uk. March figures will be interesting. Jan 2020 was not that different from 2019 ...

My thoughts are borne out by those who know more than me - sigh ! The most worrying thing I read today was about Imperial College stats dept receiving funding from Bill Gates ( Neil Ferguson ) and Bill is financing 7 vaccines under production for global vaccination - complete with nano-technology ... glad I am on the last lap ! 😷
