Anything's possible, I suppose. But, we'd need a lot more detail to tell if it were so in your case - presuming you're talking about yourself, that is. Are you sure you don't have any other reason to feel sad? It's not a symptom that I've ever seen on any lists.

Could be Low B12 or VitD - do you know your levels ? Do you have any gut problems ?

On the few occasions I’ve been slightly over medicated, the symptoms have been excessive appetite (unless it’s because I’m running a temperature) & inability to sleep. I feel hopelessly depressed when under medicated.
