Hello, I've just started taking T3 (Tiromel) quarter of a 25mg tablet in the morning and I've started getting jittery with palpitations when I go to bed at night which is preventing me from sleeping. I know it is the T3 causing this and I also know I am very sensitive to medication. I also have the faulty DIO2 Homozygous gene.
My Endo reduced my Levo from 100mg to 75mg with the introduction of the T3.
Can anyone let me know if they had the same problems starting on T3 and whether it got any better? My foggy head in a morning has improved so I really want to give this a try.
Many thanks
Jo

Hi Slow Dragon, It’s a 25mcg tablet that I’m cutting into 4. It would be near impossible to cut the tablet any further than that but I’ll try. I bought this pack from a company abroad.
I tried adding another 1/4 in the afternoon the other day but it made my jitters & palpitations worse.
My vit & mineral levels are all ok - vit D 88 & B12 3 times over the normal limit (I self inject). Good levels of iron & folate. I supplement with magnesium & selenium too.
