Last night I woke with heart jumping and pulse so fast I couldn't count it . I have been on Teva liquid but the chemist couldn't get it and I was given Wockhardt liquid. Started it on 9th was fine, actually felt good, started to feel heart jumping on afternoon 11th. The same thing happened last Christmas, I went to hospital and was on a heart monitor for 4 hours, we all eventually decided I had been glutened, although I could not work out how. I was on 125 ml Wockhardt tablets at the time and was changed to the liquid solution, first mercury Pharma then Teva. I have been ok since. My husband has been on the computer looking at all the ingredients and th Wockheart pills and liquid are different, I didn't take any Levo today so must try and get a doctor appointment tomorrow because I don't know what to do.

I take the Wockhardt tablets and find them to be more potent than other brands, which is why I like them! Perhaps the same is true for their liquid? GP’s and pharmacists insist there is no difference between brands which is rubbish as we all know. If my pharmacist can’t get the brand I want it’s worth refusing your prescription and shopping around. Levo is strong stuff and even slight differences can have a big effect on our health for the better or worse.

Thank you. Our doctor is getting rid of paper prescriptions, I wonder if that will make it harder to shop around.

I take Wockhardt liquid. For me it is much better than any other brands I’ve tried. Teva is by far the worst I’ve taken. It makes me feel quite unwell and anxious. Wockhardt feels smoother if that makes sense. I now have Wockhardt as a named brand on my prescriptions. I think jumping around with brands doesn’t help. I called the medication manager at my GP surgery and she added the comment that I must have Wockhardt only. So, maybe you could do the same and stick with a brand that your happy with.

Thank you. The doctor thinks it is Atrial Fibrilation, and nothing to do with my medication. Strangely enough I hope she is right!
