Teva levo - thyroxine

At the risk of being boring and now feeling different about Teva levo, from first saying I didn't have a problem I now find it is causing me bouts of sickness (vomiting), I know a lot of negative experiences with this brand have been reported . Anyone else have the sickness prob.? i have remembered i also had this when I took it in the past but had thought it had ceased.

Yes, it made me sick but that was before the reformulation. Only thing to do is avoid it altogether.

Thanks - yes I agree , will have to try to get it changed on script. Pharmacy says they need permission to alter as they only stock Teva Will have to order specially.

If they can't get something else then get a new prescription and ring around the pharmacies in the area to find out what they stock and take your prescription to some other pharmacy.

Boots often stocks their own branded packaging which is actually Actavis levothyroxine inside their packaging. Read the side of the box or the patient information leaflet to check it. The dispensers often haven't a clue but a qualified pharmacist should know. Ask to speak to the pharmacist if you need to.

Thanks, hope it doesn't come to this! The only pharmacies nearby are Rowland's and this is the one I'm having problem with. Was fine until a pharmacist left and replacement seems to make a career of being awkward . Difficult even to speak with him as he keeps sending counter assistant to deal with matter
