Original US showed ‘massively enlarged retrosternal left lobe thyroid and large nodule

Two months wait for referral and just had second ultrasound consultant said no nodule but very large enlargement / inflammation. Bloods normal for levels but had antibodies against thyroid.

Thinks hashimotos.

cT showed trachea slightly pushed over and not too much retrosternal

Left me confused as expecting op and now different diagnosis

I’d be most grateful for advice re hashimotos Havefollow up appt in six months. .
