Can you take tumeric tablets with levothyroxine ?

You'd be better off making and eating golden paste as that contains all the active ingredients of turmeric - not just curcumin, which is what most of the capsules contain - you'll also save yourself a lot off money and get to eat some nice curries. turmericlife.com.au/blogs/r... if you really can't be bothered to cook for 10 mins, the goldenpastecompany.co.uk do it ready made

Dear Ladybex - I take 50mcg Tirosint (levothyroxine but without fillers in a gelatin capsule) and also take turmeric (at the moment I take Pukka Wholistic Turmeric). I've never had any problem taking together although leave at least 2 hours between taking my Tirosint first thing in the morning (6.30am) and taking anything else (I believe it takes standard levothyroxine even longer to be absorbed so possibly best to allow 4 hours between). Turmeric has definitely helped me, particularly with shoulder pain and allergy symptoms!
