So as the title says is there anything that can help/ make worse?
I don't want to do any crazy diets or anything simply because I know it'll stress me out so much
But reducing or avoiding certain things I can do
I do need to go to the doctor about my bowels as I do have issues with them but just haven't had chance with all the other things going on with my health and not sure if this is related to my newly diagnosed hypo.

I don't think there's anything you can eat that will actually help. You just need a good clean diet with plenty of protein and good fats, fresh fruit and veg; some carbs, not too much fibre and a decent amount of salt.
Things to avoid are unfermented soy in all its forms: soy milk, soy protein, soy oil, soy flour, etc. Also artificial sweeteners and all processed seed oils, like rapeseed oil.
If you have Hashi's, you might benefit from a gluten-free diet. A lot of Hashi's people are gluten sensitive, even if they don't have Coeliac - which a lot of them do - so gluten-free can help with symptoms.
And, some people benefit from a paleo diet, but that's a bit extreme.
Well there is a lot of confusing advice of diet and hypothyroidism. What is going on with your bowels though is most likely linked. The reason that people with thyroid disorders get free prescriptions is that there are so many concurrent things and related disorders which require treatment.
The one thing that most people agree on is that cutting out gluten may help. You could ask for a coeliac screen at gp to rule it out. Or you can buy one online for about £15. Apparently a higer proportion of people with thyroid problems are coeliac. A lot of thyroid problems are caused by autoimmune disorder and autoimmune disorders are often interlinked. Coeliac is also autoimmune. Once you rule it out. You could cut out gluten and see if you feel improvement. A lot if people do apparently. I am trying it now. Only on day 3 gluten free and it's not easy. I could murder someone for a baguette. I will persevere though. I would like to see if it does help. If it doesn't though I'll be straight to the bakers...
