Crazy eye after 125mcg levo 10mcg T3, should I reduce levo or T3,
You need to retest thyroid levels after 6-8 weeks on your new Levothyroxine and T3 dose
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
If/when also on T3, make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or all vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
Are your vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 optimal?
What’s with the ‘crazy eye’ ? Otherwise I’d increase T3. 10mcg isn’t that much.
should I reduce levo or T3,
Impossible to say without seeing current test results with reference ranges for TSH, FT4 and FT3. Also Vit D, B12, folate and ferritin.
Hello Angelic
You question offers no details to give considered opinion.
I did not know what you mean by " crazy eye " but if this is an eye problem, suggest you see an optician sooner rather than later, as the thyroid has an impact on eye health issues.
Well, ok then, yes, you need to get this checked out - do you have Graves Disease and have you had your bloods tested and show positive for either the TSI and or TRab antibodies ?
I have just skimmed your previous posts, and I'm with Graves Disease post thyroid ablation 2005 and now managing Graves, thyroid eye disease and hypothyroidism. I am now self medicating and taking Natural Desiccated Thyroid, and slowly getting my life back.
