The MHRA says

We want to adopt a more systematic approach to listening to and involving patients – ensuring that the patient voice is heard when safety issues, concerning medicines or medical devices, are identified and in the licensing of new medicines.

We also plan to do more to communicate about who we are and the results of our work.

We would like to hear from:

- patients

- patient group representatives

- carers

- healthcare professionals

If you want to complete the online consultation questionnaire, you can find it here:

Having spent some time reading and pondering, I suggest people should select the issues they wish to comment on and spend some time mulling them over, writing and re-writing. Then submit.

Don't be afraid to raise any issues. Do try to be as clear as possible. The people reading are, in general, not patients, so will tend to have a different viewpoint. (Though surely all of them will have been patients of some sort.)
