Finding Actavis brand hard?

I'm new here, hello everyone.

I live in London. I take 100 mg levothyroxine. ACTAVIS brand only.

Other brands don't help me and all my symptoms came back with them.

But recently my pharmacy has a stock problem with Actavis brand. They give me it as bulk and it's OK. (not in the original packaging)

Last week they told me that they can't find Actavis brand, they gave me some and they told me that they asked all their suppliers for Actavis...They're waiting for a response from them.

I'm afraid of not having Actavis anymore...I tried Teva and Mercury and all my symptoms came back, I felt worse with them...I don't wanna use those brands.

So what will I do? What shall I do?

Any advice?

Do you find Actavis easily?

Won't they sell Actavis levothyroxine anymore?

Thanks.

Boots always have Actavis (packaged as Almus) in stock but it has to say Actavis on the prescription otherwise they dispense the cheapest brand, I suggest you call all your local pharmacies to see who has it on the shelf.

I only get a month's worth at a time and I picked up my last prescription last week, no problem, I got Actavis as normal, I've been having it for years.

Did you know that Almus (Boots) and Northstar (Lloyds Pharmacy) are Actavis repackaged, so if you get offered those you'll be getting Actavis. Or you could take your prescription to either of those pharmacies and make sure you get those brands.

I always manage to get Actavis from Lloyds, but you do have to ask for Northstar as often the staff do not appreciate what is inside the box.
