Hello all. I have recently been diagnosed with graves eye disease and in the far future if my illness progresses and stays stable I will consider surgary. Its already effected my life and self consciousness to a level I have never experienced before. Anyway I am wondering if any of you guys have gone through with surgaries and what your expereinces were. Any recommended surgeons in the UK? Been struggling to find one in this country! Tbh I am thinking of flying to the states if need be! I love the NHS but I read a study saying most hospitals do 10 of these surgeries a year tops. Not good enough considering how serious it is so thinking of Raymond Douglas in the states. Anyway any advice would be much, much appreciated.
