You can send for the list of thyroid friendly endos from Dionne at ThyroidUK
tukadmin@thyroiduk.org
Your friend could then telephone the endo's secretary or email to enquire if they can deal with pituitary issues. You can then ask on the forum for feedback by private message on any that your friend can travel to.
As we can't discuss individual doctors on the open forum without their permission, I will close your post to replies and if anyone can help (although unlikely at this stage as you haven't mentioned a geographical area) then they will reply by private message.
