Full thyriodectomy

I had half removed in December due to ThyCan but i am having it all out on Monday. Then radiation on 1st April. I am so scared to do this all again and hear it is worse 2nd time round. To make make worse, i have an eye infection and a Bartholin cyst. Any advice welcome please. Thank you.
