What's your resting heart rate?

Bit of a weird one, I'm wondering what people's resting heart rates are?

I'm possibly being a hypochondriac here, but I want to compare my own against others with hashi's, because someone has suggested my rate (51BPM) is a tad low.

I'm semi-active, but nothing special.

Mine jumped to 65 over Christmas, bit once I went back to work, it quickly went back to 53, and has been 51 for the last 10 days or so.

Hi Cooper27, mine is around 54 now. Was lower before starting levo 6 months ago. Diagnosis was made via my concern over low HR. Doc dismissed it as a result of me being ‘active’. I’d googled LHR and thyroid issues were mentioned. So doc, on my request did thyroid tests. Still too low though and worries me. Bad family heart issues 😔

Yes, my family has a big issue of blood clots, and heart failure too.

I've tested my thyroid, and I have antibodies, but my thyroid is performing ok at the moment.

Mine is usually around 60-70. These past two months I had a higher resting heart rate because of ‘anxiety’ that went up to 100. I was really worried but All the doctors told me that my heart is good and normal and racing heart beats are just a result of stress and anxiety

Mine is normally at about 55. It can go down to 51 and up to 59
