Hi im no expert and there are far more qualified people here able to advise you but I can say personally I was in the same boat and actually quite ill with my digestive issues even to the point of vomiting, I happened across a post about L glutamine powder (Amazon) you take it at least an hour before food and never take it with hot drinks just mix with water or add lemon its tasteless , absolutely works for me but doesn't work for everyone its brilliant for digestive issues or leaky gutt and can actually heal leaky gutt in 12 to 24 months depending on how severe the problem is, I take a teaspoon mixed with 200mls of organic coconut water mix it up and drink.. Yummy... 3 times a day and I no longer feel sick after meals and I no longer feel bloated and my tummy cramps are all but gone , not completely but it will in time , it's also brilliant for energy and building muscle mass , I can honestly say its working , Google L glutamine.. good luck
I take betaine HCL with pepsin with meals. Common for hypothyroid people to have low stomach acid. I get capsules because there are too many binders in tablets. The way to know how much you need is take 1-2 with the first bites of food. If you feel burning in your stomach, you have enough stomach acid. If you feel nothing, increase the dose to 3 the next day & then 4 the following day, etc. As soon as feel burning, decrease by one. That's your dose. Meals with a lot of protein require more betaine HCL.
