Bloood test timing

Please could someone advise me what is the best time of day for me to get my bloods done for a diagnosis.

Im still getting symptoms and my gp has agreed to test.

As early as possible in morning and fasting gives highest TSH

Don't mention this to GP, just book an early appointment

Ask for vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin plus thyroid antibodies to be tested too

Your previous post showed low B12. Have you been supplementing since?

Remember to stop taking any supplements with biotin in 3-5 days before any blood tests - eg vitamin B complex

Yes I’ve been taking b12, I will stop this before the test

8 am ish would be the best time for the blood to be drawn.
