It isn't so easy to read sideways, your results, but your TSH is too high, you need an increase to bring it to 1 or lower.
Your Vit D is too low. I don't know how to interpret Active B12 but both D and B12 are pro-hormones and have important work in our bodies. Your antibodies are very high, and going gluten-free can help reduce them. Antibodies attack the thyroid gland and wax and wane until we're hypothyroid.
Thanks for the reply. Yes I've been told off the medichecks doctor my vitamin d is low so I will supplement for that. B12 has been tested on mon by my gp and have been told that is fine off both go and medichecks doctor. I'm due my b12 injection in a month's time. My first blood test since going on levo is next week so I will push for an increase because I agree my tsh should be lower. Considering I was diagnosed 4th Sept I'm pleased with most of my results. I'm eating Brazil nuts for selenium each day is that adequate ??
This is an excerpt that I've just read:-
Selenium. Brazil nuts are the best source of selenium. Period. One Brazil nut provides you with all of the selenium you need for the day. As many of you know, I have Hashimotos, an autoimmune thyroid disease and I eat one Brazil nut every day to help me out with that. There’s anywhere from 50mcg to 90mcg of selenium in each nut. Selenium boosts antioxidant activity and is believed to prevent cancer and lower your risk of joint inflammation. To give you an idea of just how rich these nuts are in selenium, 3 ounces of the next food on the “good sources of selenium list”—tuna—contains 68 mcg.
Now, please stick to one Brazil nut per day and DO NOT go filling up on them.
