Note that your erythrocyte sedimentation rate is moderately high - which indicates inflammation in your body.

Many of us would be at least starting to feel not right with a TSH of 2.23 but, as was said on previous thread, few doctors would act.

Your ferritin is low at 38ug/L. For thyroid hormone to work (that's our own as well as replacement hormone) ferritin needs to be at least 70, preferably half way through range. This will be contributing to your fatigue and may bring other symptoms too.

You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...

As suggested in your previous post, it's important to test vitamin D, folate and B12 as well.

I can not eat extra iron, cos my dna and I feel just as awful. I will take vit A, hope it helps.

I think you might be misinterpreting what was said.

The maximum consumption of liver is because it contains a high level vitamin A. It is easy to consume too much vitamin A by eating liver frequently. (Yes, sufficient vitamin A is important.)

I also do not quite get what you are saying: I can not eat extra iron, cos my dna

Could you explain a bit more?

You need to be careful with the amount of Vit A you take, as it's a fat soluble vitamin any excess gets stored and can build up to toxicity level and cause problems. See

Sorry, I did misunderstand. I am vegetarian/vegan, that is why does not make sense for me and you did not know about me, I do not eat liver.

I got a dna test and my body could hold on to iron in my internal organs and damage them. Hopefully it makes sense to you.

What should I do? Why my doctor does not care out my inflamation?

I'm afraid I can't tell you what to do, I'm not medically trained and iron is complicated. It's something you should maybe discuss with your GP although uncaring doctors, as your say yours is, do seem to be quite common amongst members of the forum.

Do you mean you have hemochromatosis?

This is iron over load.

Have you had genetic test to confirm this?

Yes, I had genetic test, but only confirmed one of the two genes. And it is looks I am ferritin deficient regarding to my latest blood test. So might be not, if there is only 1 of the 2.

You need to discuss this with haematologist or endocrinologist

I think you misunderstood SeasideSusie. She was saying not to take more than 200 g liver per week because it has a high vitamin A content and you have to be careful with vitamin A. You could easily overdose on it if you eat too much liver.
