Salisbury Endicrinology Advice pls

My daughter, currently in Southmead Hospital, Bristol has just been told she probably has Hypothyroidism. She lives in Salisbury & I wonder if Dr Martin Smith is best to see: his is the only name coming up locally when I check! Also, is he good? Many thanks for any advice as after 5 years of different diagnoses, we are feeling fairly desperate now 😢
