Cortisol test?

Do you think it would be worth me having a saliva cortisol test before my endo appointment?

I did have a string of stressful life experiences in the years leading up to diagnosis and find the times I have external stressors my energy levels drop. Definitely not depressed but am frustrated by lack of obedient body.

I have my first endo appointment at an NHS “thyroid clinic “ in September.

I am a little fearful they will do nothing to help me so want to be fully prepared, even if it means getting private test results to take with me.

It is so good having you all to turn to for advice. 💝

You could get them done but there is no guarantee that the Endo will look at them! Do you feel your cortisol levels are high or low?

I’m thinking it may be low.
