50mcg increase too much?

dr wants me to take 200mcg when i was on 150mcg

is it too much of an increase?

Usually it is 25mcg increase but as you've had a big rise in TSH recently, probably 50mcg is worth trying. If either your pulse/temp increase too high, phone GP and he/she will probably tell you to reduce to 25mcg increase.

well ive taken 200

ive found a box for my liquid that i used to be on so will take that to chemist and see if thats the one they ordered

im also going to have to re request eltroxin again if i dont do well on new tablets because its not stated on prescription

Yes, they have to state Eltroxin I believe as the others are probably generic.
