I'm recently diagnosed (3 months) with hashi, hypo & low B12 and haven't been able to ask the Dr yet what my actual values are. Only just had my first re-test after starting Levo and I don't think they tested either B12 or antibodies. Should they - at least the antibodies - be done each time?
Don't they change over time & so affect your T3/T4?

No need to repeat antibodies once presence is established to aid diagnosis. They do not cause fluctuations in FT4, FT3 or TSH as far as I'm aware . Others can confirm.
The activity of autoimmune disease may cause progression of thyroid disease but this will be apparent by symptoms and TSH and FT results rather than by antibodies results which will fluctuate regardless.
Testing antibodies can be useful when you want to check what influence an intervention (e.g. going gluten, dairy free, taking certain supplements etc.) has on your autoimmunity. Generally if you manage to lower your antibodies to the almost undetectable levels you are officially in remission and hopefully symptom free though you might need to continue with the thyroid meds for life. Unfortunately the process of gradually lowering antibodies does not always go hand in hand with significant symptoms reduction but it certainly is a pointer whether you are going in the direction of decreasing your autoimmune responses.
