Paranoia is a hypo symptom, yes. :) Are you under-medicated?

It could be due to lack of T3. T4 i.e. levothyroxine is what is prescribed and this is an inactive hormone which should convert to the only Active Thyroid Hormone, i.e. T3 (liothyronine - the Active thyroid hormone). Sometimes we don't convert effectively from levothyroxine to T3 and our brain and heart need the most T3 which should be converted from levothyroxine. If we don't have sufficient T3 we can have unpleasant symptoms and you may need an increase in dose.
