What have you been doing that you think is 'right'- gluten free, even dairy free diet? Got TSH down to 1 or below?

Ari3 in reply to Judithdalston

Yes iam gluten and dairy free .i have done liver flush and doing parasite cleans it’s basically 12 month program .But I have done lots of changes myself for example apart from excluding those two from my diet I have cut off completely coffee sorting out adrenals lots of vitamins and minerals healthy diet -trying not to eat carbs and sweets , juicing and smoothies ,minimazing stress (iam not working since I got this issue) not using chemicals on my face make up and stuff stopped using perfumes changes cleaning products still log road to go with them .my tsh last time was 3.58 only with 1/4 and 1/4 grain ndt.i haven’t started parasite cleans as I had set back with urine infection and is better to cure it first.I use lots of probiotics and prebiotics kefir complex.i drink healthy teas like ginger and tumeric I eat raw garlic I take digestive enzymes with hcl .i take magnesium oil spray ,vitamin b complex, selenium, iron, omega 3, folic acid, vitamin e , vitamin c .i have turned around my life and brought changes a lot with it.i stopped colouring my hair with chemicals, drinking 2-3l water gave up smoking and I don’t drink at all.

Wow! Fantastic, brilliant. So very well done. Not an easy regime but certainly seems to have paid off. Great example to us all. Do you have any friends left?

Ha ha ha u made me laugh it’s a very tough regime I agree lol iam not very outgoing person anyway like restaurants and things BUT when I go out I choose gluten free menues and lactose free -the other day they had avocado salad with green smoothy and salmon loved it .its just becomes your lifestyle and it’s worth to sacrifice things in order to feel better and enjoy life.i remember 9 months ago I had tsh 44 and I was like a dead frog sick and depressed at home in bed all the time I lost my job :-( it as awful time .i guess only time can heal you with a right tools.i see my naturopath and nutritionist. What changes you have brought yourself in order to feel better? Iam truly happy for my new lifestyle .its hard at times yes I agree people enjoying foods I can’t enjoy but when I think what these foods does to my body I just don’t think twice .

There is a road of recovery I do believe just need to be patient .i also pray which really helps to sooth me down a lot reading books has also helped me I take things easy .i remember I used to drink 5-7 cups coffee everyday was working 12hrs shifts none stop nights and days broken sleep wrong foods so much sweets I could eat and eat them but never got fat or anything my weight is 56kg and iam 168cm tall.i used to smoke ( can’t emagine having a fag now the smell makes me sick) and I was smoking 15 years.i have done so wrong things and are so wrong foods at wrong times and quantities .now when I do shopping my shopping trolly is 95% of vegetables and fruits.i do lots of juicing celery , pineapple , carrot ginger cucumber beets etc most of them are anti inflammatory and helps for gut. I do watch lots of videos and read books how to reverse Hashimotos . I just want to be back as I was and even more healthy !

Hi Ari,

I am amazed with your results. I am new to the site with Hashi diagnosed and TSH 26! I need to start a medication Levo but do want to work on getting better not only depending on Levo. I feel resistance to start Levo . How are you doing with NDT? How long have you been taking NDT? Did you try LDN ( Low Dose Naltrexone). It suppose to help with Hashi . I am going to try it. Where did you do the iodine urine test ? Also how did you test adrenals? I started a gluten free, dairy free and soya free diet but I am vegetarian for 30 years( I am 50 now) and I have limited choice of food and I am hungry all the time, I am off coffee and no sweets. I would be grateful for your response.

hello :)

Bloodsdtestsdirect was the website I used for urine iodine test its £41 .its a very beneficial site not many people know about it .

Iam glad u want to take ur health in your hands well done ! I could have Levothyroxine in any form it was awful for me ! That’s why Iam on ndt now just 1/4 grain as I can’t up the dose due to iam treating adrenals .i haven’t been long on ndt maybe a month or so .

Adrenals u can test from Medicheks cortisol test 24 hrs saliva cortisol test or Adrenal Stress profile its called .there are few companies I did recently from geniva but it was way too expensive £85. You collect your saliva four times a day during specific times and it will show u your adrenal /cortisol status .Many hypothyroid people suffer from some kind of adrenal insufficiency-low or High . I had low cortisol so needed to address it .

What is Natroxen and how to use it and where to get it? I haven’t tried it no :-(

Yes main Cupid I think is gluten and lactose and perhaps soya too. Iam trying to exclude soya it’s hard I heard corn and eggs aren’t that good for us too not sure.i think it’s all about trying to eliminate and see how u feel or how ur antibodies are reacting.Have u got Hashimotos and what were ur last thyroid results.are u taking any supplements and which once!? Have u tested ur vit and minerals and what were their results?

Fabulous results. What were the liver flush and parasite cleanse that you used?

Ari3 profile image
Ari3 in reply to Katepots

It was 7 days preparation drinking apple juice and than on 8th day Epsom salts and olive oil and grapefruit juice and again Epsom salts.i passed hundreds of green stones.

Parasite cleans -paragone .tei weeks using capsules and tincture one week rest and again two weeks .it will kill off Candida too.

Excellent. I do believe health protocols can resolve most conditions (as previously reported on this forum). I follow an even more stringent one based on personal research and guidance from another forum. The only (possible) thyroid symptom I have is yellowish palms and feet.

Keep up the good work.

Hi. Very happy to compare notes. First of all, I am 26, male and should state I never had antibodies (results a couple of years ago in my HU records but I can send if you want). In fact, I've never been diagnosed with a thyroid condition. But my whole system had struggled over the past 27 months following side effects from a prescribed drug. Hence that probably includes my thyroid.

I've improved some things with a general wellbeing protocol (albeit not yet fully recovered). Diet is a key factor and mine is essentially autoimmune paleo ie AIP. Other components include meditation and some exercise (on/off due to injury, currently off) as well as a more positive mindset.

I can supply much more detail. Let me know if this PM is best to reply to you.

Take care. Oliver

Is this a pm? If not, can you advise how to do from here? Also please let me know key areas you'd prefer me to cover in reply eg diet only, and level of detail (I have lots of that!). Best Regards

Back to direct thyroid problems-post your new bloods when you get them back. Your 3.58 TSH on NDT was still high, perhaps you need more to get your FT3 in upper part of range, and TSH at 1 or below.
