It's extremely difficult to get T3 prescribed on the NHS at the moment.

There is no information in your profile or your post. We often find, when new members ask about T3, that once we see their test results we can identify other problems that need addressing rather than the need for T3.

Canyou tell us about your thyroid journey and can you post your test results, with their reference ranges, for the following

TSH

FT4

FT3

Thyroid antibodies

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

That gives a full picture and members will then be able to help.

Welcome to our forum Terry 117,

If you haven't had an up-to-date blood test. Maybe ask GP to do a Full Thyroid Function Test and I do understand if you don't feel well on levothyroxine. Most on this forum dont.

What you deed is a Full Thyroid Function Test as SeasideSusie has listed.

We understand how people feel when not improving on levo and being told that is all that will now be prescribed.

Many members have also consulted Endocrinologists with no luck.

Thyroiduk.org.uk has a list of sympathetic doctors and you can email dionne at:

email dionne at TUK for a list.

I run a thyroid support group in Weybridge on the second Saturday of the month if that would be any help to you Terry. We also have a Facebook group facebook.com/groups/1740354... and you could ask on there for endo recommendations but I think it's mainly Kingston Hospital our members have been to.
