I think a few members use them, they are often recommended by Dr Peatfield. The Metavive is used as a type of NDT and the Adrenavive as adrenal support. I use Adrenavive ll.

Thanks for that. Do you take them along side your thyroid meds or instead of them?

I take the adrenal one so nothing to do with my thyroid meds.

But if someone is taking the Metavive would they continue with Levothyroxine ?

It would be treated the same as any other NDT. The only difference is that it doesn't say how much T4 and T3 is in it. So as with any NDT, you may do well on Metavive alone, you may need to add some Levo as well or you may need to take some T3 as well. It's a very individual thing so no set "rules".

Thanks, I think I’ll discuss it with my GP in that case as I’m going to need regular blood tests while I’m trying it. By the sounds of things. That’s very helpful. Thanks again
