Hi I'm new to hypothyroidism. Starting my second month on Levonthyroxin. I feel awful. First few day felt good. Now I'm have more pain. Weakness. I woke up with terrible pain in my elbow bone. My fingers in the am feel like somebody is chopping them off. I got a referral to a endocrinologist. Can't see me till Aug I'm on 75mg. Help.

You were started on 75 mcg? Maybe that was a little too much for you. But, you should have become accustomed to it by now. Do you have a copy of your lab results from when you were diagnosed?

Have you had a retest since you started? Why is your GP referring you to an endo? I think we need a little more information to be able to help you, because every case is different. :)
