Hello there, can anyone tell me if motor neurone is an Autoimune decease please ?
My mother died from this decease 3 years ago and I have got a couple of Autoimune deceases myself!
I have Hashimoto and everything that goes with it! 🤣 but really need to get this sorted by doing the AIP diet! I really don’t want to have that terrible decease that my mother died from. From start to finish was only 5 months.
Thank you
Kathy

My goodness - five months between diagnosis and death is such a shock to the whole family.
I am very sorry and understand how shocked the whole family would be and you will obvioulsy be worried.

Possible causes of MND (including inherited forms of MND) Most people who develop MND have no family history of the condition, and it is extremely unlikely to develop in other family members. (See below for familial or inherited MND). Little is known about what causes this form of MND.
Hi lovely .so very sorry for the loss of your mum .at anytime it is a terrible loss . But to a disease like this it is heartwrenching. A cousin of ours has motar nuerone.and is in a carehome and has been totally immobile for 2 years .he is only 63. Know one else in his family before or after his has had this .it is so awful to watch him .but he is still an incredable loving upbeat person .hope this puts your mind at rest love .hugs .kathy x
My heart goes out to you and your family, I know exactly what you’re all going through! My mum was 82 when she fell ill with it! It’s soul destroying to watch them go through this wicked decease! Please god that one day they find a cure!
Yes this has put my mind at rest and I wish you all the very best in this journey .
