Adding t3

Hello ,

If I was too drop one grain of thyroid S,and add 10mcg of t3 would that be the equivalent ish?..x

1 grain NDT is equivalent to 25mcg T3.

Oh fab,so by adding 10 mcg of t3 and dropping the one grain is a gentle exchange? And I can gently add more t3?

No, it's not a gentle exchange, it may make you undermedicated. If you only want to add 10mcg T3 why not reduce NDT by 1/2 a grain?

Morning clutter,

I’d introduced 10 mcg of t3 too the 4 grains of thyroid s I’m on six weeks ago ..then 2 weeks ago I added the additional 10 mcg of t3 and dropped 1 grain ..so now on 3 grains and 20 mcg of t3 ..

I recommend checking FT3 level 8 weeks after switching to 3 grains + 20mcg T3.

Thank you ...I’m taking two grains in the morning,then the 20 mcg of T3 at 12 then the other one grain of thyroid s@ 4 oclock ,does this sound ok or should I be splitting the T3??

No it's fine. You're splitting your T3 throughout the day.
