Fauzie12, you are not on sufficient thyroid hormones (levothyroxine) yet as your TSH is 4.3. (when you give results of tests you also have to put the ranges). Ranges differ in labs, and it enables members to respond.

If you are going for a blood test tomorrow, I hope it is at the very earliest time possible. If not, cancel, and make another appointment which has to be the very earliest possible, fasting, and allow a gap of 24 hours between your last dose of levothyroxine and the test and take afterwards.

Levothyroxine should be taken on an empty stomach, usually when we awake with one full glass of water and wait an hour before eating. Food interferes with the uptake of the hormones.Ask GP to also test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate and thyroid antibodies.

Re high blood pressure it could be due to not yet being on an optimum dose of thyroid hormones. I will give you a link of symptoms which can occur (not all of them of course

The aim is a TSH of 1 or lower. TSH is highest early a.m and drops throughout the day, that's why we suggest an early a.m. test as not doing so can result in doctor not increasing your dose.

Always get a copy/print-out of your results with the ranges for your own records and you can post if you have a query.
