Hi I am new I am thinking about taking some antidepressants because I feel so low, memory is very bad, making mistakes, feeling cold, confused, dizzy, ears persistently ringing, bowels being very slow, dry skin, swelling in neck, tiredness, weight gain, cramps in muscles, dry eyes that water in the cold/windy/damp/dry weather, breathlessness. Is this something to look at doing? I was diagnosed hypothyroid in 2013.

Thanks in advance.

You sound very under medicated for your thyroid

Do you have recent blood test results for thyroid

TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus have you had thyroid antibodies tested

Also very helpful if you have had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested

Add results and ranges if you have them already

If not, get copies from GP receptionist, you are legally entitled to your own blood test results

Come back with new post when you have results
