This morning I accidentally too an extra 25mcg levo and I feel horrible totally exhausted. Could this small amount make me feel so ill? Am on -125 levo 12.5 Lio.

Very unlikely. It's only a tiny dose, and it takes at least seven days to have any effect.

Oh, no! I was hoping it was the extra pill that made me feel this way.

Latest results on 112.5 levo and 6.25 T3 was

ft3 4.9(3.5-6.5)

Ft4 15.5 (10-19.8)

Do you think it could be that 12.5levo and 6.25t3 extra is too much of an increase? Been on this dose of t3 for 3 weeks and added the extra levo a week ago.

I very much doubt that, too. There was plenty of room for increases. But, as a general rule, one shouldn't increase both T4 and T3 at the same time - one or the other. But, I doubt such tiny increases would have much effect, anyway.

lisan1,

There are many people here who would swear you'd never notice the difference. Others feel they can notice even the tiniest difference. One of the many unanswered questions is why the huge variation in personal experience?

I take 112.5 - but because I don't like Teva levothyroxine (UK version), I have to do something else. Did try alternating 100 and 125 - but did not feel as well as on 112.5 every day. That is a very minor difference which I find surprising to have any real effect.

I'd have doubted a simple 25 extra micrograms would have much impact - but I wouldn't dismiss the possibility. My own experience suggests you might be able to feel it - but I'd be surprised if it had a very significant impact.

Would also suggest checking vitamin D, folate, ferritin and b12 if not done for a while

Is done waiting for everything except ferritin which is

90(10-291)

Is this enough?

Not sure, it's an unusual range

Normally would say half way in range

If you like liver eating that once a week should help improve levels

Not what you're looking for?
