Is thyroid eye disease (ted) graves or are they two separate conditions. I’ve only had the peroxidase test done which was normal. I am having a lot of problems with my eyes, swelling, pressure etc. I have been referred to an eye specialist. Any input would be grateful thank you, oh I am hypothyroid and still undermedicated. I am hoping for another increase in 3 weeks.

I have hashimotoes and TED. Apparently it’s about 20% of hashies sufferers that get it. I am taking selenium to help calm it and have gone gluten free. Avoid anyone that smokes and if you do yourself give it up as it affects it badly. X

Ah I see. Think they want to check for glaucoma first as I didn’t pass pressure test then I presume they will refer me
