I know people often ask how long to leave off biotin supplements to avoid skewing test results. This seems to suggest that if you take a high dose biotin such as one of the hair and nail supplements it could be as long as 8 days

Hi Phoenix605,
I've seen advice to stop taking biotin 24 hours to 8 days before testing. It's not just for thyroid results either, biotin can skew results for any blood tests which use biotin in the analysis.
